First Residency - São Paulo & Curitiba

In 2018, Wendy Hambidge travelled to Latin America to teach Body-Mind Centering classes. While there, she was invited by Marila Velloso (Curitiba) and Tarina Coelho (São Paulo) to do work with their students in the State University of Paraná and the University of São Paulo.

Wendy offered an introduction into the studies of Bones, Blood and Skin through the Somatics / Experiential Anatomy lenses, and a Choreographic frame that allowed the students to bond and reflect about their identity matters while developing choreographic work that resulted in a documentary film (available below)
